WP4-install progress report 26/3/03
[WP4I-1] Node Configuration Manager (NCM): Design
- Status update: Ongoing. Draft design document
circulated to CERN and INFN. Comments have been received and will be
integrated in a first public version to be circulated next week.
- Dependencies: -
[WP4I-11] SPMA, basic functionality
- Status update: Almost stable version ready for
deployment at CERN. However, some important functionality enhancements will be
moved from phase II (full functionality) to phase I (basic functionality),
estimated in ~ 1PW.
- Dependencies: -
[WP4I-14] Software Repository, basic functionality
- Status update: Almost stable version deployed at
CERN for tests. ACL manipulation functions to be tested for stability -
otherwise leave them for phase II (full functionality).
- Dependencies: -
[WP4I-16] Automated installation infrastructure (AII):
Design
- Status update: Design almost complete, announced to
mailing lists, waiting for comments.
- Dependencies: -
[WP4I-17] AII installation server
- Status update: Started some basic experimentation
with CAF and other libraries required, waiting for the OK of [WP4I-16] for the
complete implementation.
- Dependencies: [WP4I-16]
[WP4I-20] Deployment of LCFGng
- Status update: Ongoing. From time to time, some bugs
to solve little problems (Enrico).
- Dependencies: -
[WP4I-21] LCFGng support to the EDG testbed
- Status update: Ongoing. About 1-2 mails per week (Enrico).
Some support issues popping up at CERN while Sylvain (ITeam) is away (German)
